The Yarina Biological Reserve is located 25 Km in straight line (down river) from Puerto Francisco
de Orellana (El Coca). Our motor boats take 1 hour of river navigation on the Napo river to reach the Yarina lodge.
Accomodation and facilities: 20 multiple huts (single, double, triple and
quadruple accommodations) with private bathrooms and showers. All huts are made with typical materials of the zone. Water
is provided the 24 hours in the bathrooms and showers. Electricity is provided through a generator from 18H00 till 22H00 (110
V.). Each hut is equipped with beds (all beds with mosquito nets), closet, hammock and a lamp Each bathroom is equipped with
sink, shower, toilet, toilet paper, soap and towel. Near to the Manduro river is located a big cabin where the passenger will
find the restaurant, the bar and a comfortable place to rest. The kitchen staff offers healthy and variety food. If the passengers
have vegetarian preferences, our staff is ready to offer vegetarian food. The administration of the lodge offer for the passengers
a security box to keep their values.

PROGRAM ITINERARY
(All passengers will take the activities described
in each day of this itinerary and always depending of the time of entrance or departure)
Monday .- Breakfast.
After breakfast we will take a small canoe to navigate on the Manduro river till the Sapococha Lagoon. We will walk around
the lagoon enjoying a concert of sounds of birds, frogs, monkeys, etc; in addition we will learn about different
types of aquatic plants. Return to the lodge and lunch. After lunch we will visit the Socali path, characterized for a variety
of different jungle lands. This path is used like an introduction trail to learn about the flora and fauna that is possible
to find in different types of forest. Return to the lodge to have the dinner and resting time.
Tuesday .- After breakfast we will visit the Capibara path. An adventure
trail with many swamps. In this trail you will see some palm trees that is possible to see in other places. Return to the
lodge to take the lunch. Late in the afternoon with out rubber boots and wearing comfortable dresses (shorts is recommended).
The local guides are going to teach us how to use the blowpipe. After this activity we will take a small canoe to enjoy with
the piranha fishing. Return to the lodge to take the dinner. Resting time.
Wednesday .- Breakfast. After take our rubber
boots and jungle dresses we will take a canoe to navigate up river watching birds, butterflies, orchids, amphibians, all this
till reach the trail "Dos ramas". We will have a short trekking to learn about medicinal plants, birds and animals. Return
to the lodge, lunch. After lunch we will take the Tucan trail, this trail will take us till one of the tallest birdwatching
tower of the ecuadorian jungle. On the canopy we will stay some minutes watching some species of birds of high altitudes.
Return to the lodge, dinner and resting time.
Thrusday .- After breakfast we will take the motor boat to go out of the borders
of our reserve and visit an indigenous family of the Quichuas del Oriente community. Our guides will talk to you about traditions
and costumes of these tribes. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon we will walk through the "Guatusos trail". A
new opportunity to learn from our guides the utility of some plants, about birds, insects and animals. Return to the lodge,
dinner and resting time.
Friday.- After breakfast, we will go deep inside in the jungle till a small
river surrounded by stones, sand, clay and other elements. In this place the guides will show us the techniques and instruments
for the practice of the gold pan.After lunch we will visit the Socali path, characterized for a variety of different jungle
lands, This path is use like an introduction trail to learn about the flora and fauna that is possible to find in different
types of forest. Return to the lodge to have the dinner and resting time.
